Not In My Backyard! has been running monthly at the UCB Theater since 2015 as its original incarnation Two Beers In, and has featured comedians like Adam Pally and Sasheer Zamata, journalists like Steve Kornacki and Alex Wagner, as well as Borough Presidents, NYC Council Members, State Senators, and State Assembly Members.

From congestion pricing and outdoor dining to dog poop and rats, we get to the bottom of how this insane city works. We’ll also quiz the audience on their own New York knowledge. Hosted by New York City’s most informed voters, Cody Lindquist (Colbert, Broad City, PTA Executive Board) and Charlie Todd (Improv Everywhere, Pixar In Real Life, Condo Board Vice President).

In May, the show is going ~Totally Transit Nerd Mode~ with panelists from Streetsblog, Transportation Alternatives, and most importantly (in our humble opinion) Riders Alliance’s own Betsy Plum!

For this month’s Allies After Hours event, we’re headed to UCB to cheer Betsy on and laugh our heads off. After the show, we’ll walk across the beautiful 14th St busway and catch up over drinks at The Winslow.
